I turned it off to install a program because it required the UAC to be off,
not I try and turn it on by going Control Panel > User Accounts > Turn User
Account Control on or off > Continue > then ticking the box and pressing OK.
I pressed Turn User Account Control on or off > Continue and find that it is
not ticked and UAC is NOT on. I keep ticking the box and going OK but it just
doesn't turn on. Any help?

@waterboy:
I did try TweakUAC, and it doesn't seem to work. it gives me this msg "Could
not read the current UAC settings.
Please visit (website) for an updated version of this software." then i have
to click ok then the program closes.

@be yond:
This is the first time I'm looking for help, and I've tried tweak uac but
didnt solve my problem.

@.joe:
thanks for the website but unfortunately didn't solve my problem

It's likely the you are having registry Permissions problems.

"Another nick"...didn't you just request that a few other posters stop
changing their "nick" so that you could permanently kill file them
capin' crunch?
I've counted at least 15 different "nicks" from you.
You're mentally unstable and delusional. What meds are you on, huh?
