Cannot update clients

Hello,
I installed SUS on a server. I configured my client to use this server with
a GPO.
The GPO settings seems correct because the registry values are the one's
expected. But it does not work! Any idea?
Question:
- From the client side, what should I expected to see on the IE address bar:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com or my server name (http://SUSserver).
Thanks
Alex

Alex,

Depending on the configuration, and what version of the SUS Client policy
you are using you should see nothing on the client if you disabled access to
WindowUpdate for the users. If you are allowing them to update manually, it
should just go to the second address that you suggest in your post, if it
shows anything. My policies normally don't allow users to update the
machines. I manage 1500 machines and they are updated nicely with no user
intervention.

Thank you for your question. This appears to be a SUS question, though.
Since this is a Windows Update newsgroup, may I suggest you post to the
following newsgroup. You are likely to get better information and advice.

microsoft.public.softwareupdatesvcs
