SpeedyDuck,
Your keyboard is defective. The copy/paste function seems to work fine -
but when ever you type on your own text, it seems to be in all capital
letters. As that is difficult to read (at best) and considered the
newsgroup equivalent of shouting by many - you may want to get that checked.
It could be as simple as pressing the caps-lock key on the left side of your
keyboard and looking elsewhere to see if the light for it turned off (or
test-typing to see if you can type in proper mixed case at that point)
before posting. *grin*
It will not let you *what*? Update your PC?
So when you visit
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ --> you get the
message about the files not being registered?
Close all open windows...
Start button --> RUN --> type in (one at a time):
net.exe stop wuauserv
regsvr32 /s wuapi.dll
regsvr32 /s wups.dll
regsvr32 /s wuaueng.dll
regsvr32 /s wuaueng1.dll
regsvr32 /s wucltui.dll
regsvr32 /s wuweb.dll
regsvr32 /s jscript.dll
regsvr32 /s atl.dll
regsvr32 /s softpub.dll
regsvr32 /s msxml3.dll
net.exe start wuauserv
Click OK after each one.
Try again.
