Cannot update Windows because of BITS

i have tried all the fixes I have come across on the site. I can't seem to
register qmgr.dll. I get a message that it is loaded, but the
DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. This file cannot be registered.

Can someone help?

Hello,

1. Stop the BITS service and disable.

2. unregister the qmgr.dll with: regsvr /u qmgr.dll

3. uninstall BITS from add/remove programs.

4. download BITS 1.5 from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...6c8-2abf-43c7-
ab51-e0c53303086d&DisplayLang=en

5. reinstall BITS.
