cannot update XP64 please help

I am currently using an evaluation version of XP64 and it will not allow me
to use windows update. Is this feature turned off for the evaluation version?

No, it's not disabled, but MS does not update Beta versions (which is what
you have) through the Windows Update service - you need to reinstall with
the latest version (either by upgrade or by reformat/reinstall, depending on
the instructions)
