after I loaded Dreamweaver8 I lost my help and support files in vista. I
found the fix in the knowledge base and downloaded the
DW8_Fix_Help_And_Support.reg file but when I ran it I got the following error
messange after the usual warnings. 'not all the data was successfully writen
toe registry some keys are open by the system or other processes.'
I tried running it in safe mode with the same results.
I don't dare tackle the registry directly and would be grateful if someone
could advise me.

Run regedit as an administrator and then use the import function on the
regedit toolbar.
