cann't install widows live programs

I have just insalled window vista Home on my HP Laptop
And I have a problem
I couldn't install widows live programs!
an error accure

Could you be more specific of the exact error(s)?

One thing you could do is manually install the products you want. My blog has links and

OK, first a message box appear with this message " preparing th

then an error box that has this mesage

please try installing windows live programs again

Apparently I can't edit my previous post on this retarded forum.

Anyway, I want to answer this question because I received the same error
code. What it turned out to be was the Live installer was looking for the
Windows Update AutoUpdate Client (wuauclt.exe), which wasn't running. I fixed
it the same way you fix all user errors - I rebooted the system. The point is
that to install the Live package you have to have all the hated,
memory-hogging, totally useless windows crapplications running.

If this post helps only one user then my life has been worthwhile.

This doesn't surprise me, as the installer tries to turn on Microsoft Update (among other
things).

However, for latter reference, you could manually install without the whole suite installer
by just using the Microsoft Installer files, as noted here:
