Canon MP470 prints HTML source instead of page contents

Here is a new one.
My neighbor's Canon laptop+vista+MP470 printer
prints only the HTML source (contents) of a web page using Exploder.

Everything looks like:
<HTML>
</HTML

<FORM>
</FORM>

Everything looks like this !

Using any of the print methods: Print ICON,
File->Print->Preview->Print

If I create a Word Document : it prints the document Ok ... Fonts,
Colors.

We have
removed/disabled/installed/reinstalled/booted/rebooted/plugged/unplugged/
the printer and it still defaults to this state

.. nothing
changes.

Totally confused.

help needed.
