CANON MULTIPASS PRINTER

I downloaded the SP2 update and whenever I have the printer connected (USB
port) I can not print or get into the my computer (I get the flashlight). I
have tried editing the MPNETIPC to no avail. When I do take my USB printer
connection out and reboot. I am back to normal. I just want to operate my
printer! Can anyone help? Thanks

cannon has a pos SP2 patch avalible for most of there devices just got to
cannon and checking the driver updates for your model

the driver and patch for XP on Canon Europe download sites do'nt work
Please give a better advice
