Canot install IIS7 on Vista Business

Hi,

I have a fresh laptop with a fresh install of Vista Business installed but
am unable to install IIS7 when I select the "IIS Metabase and IIS 6
configuration compatibility" option which I require.

Looking at the iis7.log file I see the following lines indicating failures
(this is from the latest attempt):

I'm quite frustrated with Vista as I wasn't expecting to encounter issues so
quickly into it's use - I've only had it a fortnight now

The only other major software I have installed are:
SQL Server 2005 (without reporting services)
Visual Studio 2008 Professional trial
Microsoft Office 2007 Professional

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
