Canot open word attachment in Outlook after update

Hello,

I'm from Germany and I got a serious problem after installing the updates
from August, 22, 2007.

After installing the updates, my Outlook (2003) as part of Office 2003 Small
Business Edition, shows a strange behaviour:
Outlook cannot open Word-documents attached to the mails.
The message sounds as follows:

There's an error during opening the file.
Please try one of the following steps:
Make sure you have enough rights to open the file!
Is there enough diskspace?
Open the file with recovery-textconverter.

Well I'm logged in as administrator. The disk has enough space (nearly 50%
used).
Opening the file with the recovery-textconverter option in word results in
nothing.

What can I do?
