Can't acces Internet through ActiveSync

Hello NG,

I have my HTC Touch Pro with WM6.1 attachted to my PC via USB and ActiveSync
4.5.
In ActiveSync->File->Connectionsettings I slected "this computer is
connected with: Internet"

In my HTC I adjustet the Settings->Connections -> Proxy to what I use in my
internet explorer too.

Still I can't get Internet access with my HTC.

What is it I am doing wrong?

Hi Rainer,

Assuming you have already tried setting it to "Automatic" under Connection
Settings:

* Are you connecting at home or work?
* Does the PC use proxy server to connect to internet?

Yes, without success.

Yes, an I have set the connection setting in my HTC to proxy with the same
settings as in my PC.

Is there some special setup to do on the HTC - which I can't find in the
manual - ?

Hi Rainer,

Corporate proxies which function as LSPs can sometimes interfer Desktop
Passthrough connection. If editing registry is possible, you may want to
refer to #24 on http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/acti...shoot-as4x.htm

Basically the .reg file will add a DWORD Value - AllowLSP with the value of
0 under path - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services

Once done, reboot the PC for the changes to take effect. I hope this
information helps solves your issue.
