Cant access advanced boot options

I simply cant access advanced boot options i press F8 and it goes to boot devices and not advanced boot options i cant understand why i cant access since it was supposed to be easy but i really cant access and im stuck with another problem because the screen is black after loading the OS but in safe mode its fine so i wanted to try the last good known configuration or the low resolution to see if i could solve my problem but since i cant im really stuck i would thank some help guys
