Can't Access "Computer" on Vista

Whenever I try to access "Computer", the Control Panel or anything like that,
I get an error and then it restarts the desktop and generates a SSDP-error.

This means that I can't access my files, nor remove Norton Internet Security
2007 which I suspect is causing this problem. Any suggestions?? I'm at a loss
here...

Hi,

Yep, I suspect NIS is causing the problem too. Try restarting in Safe mode
by hitting F8 at bootup to access the boot menu. Once there, you should be
able to access the control panel and remove NIS, or at least run msconfig
and disable all of its startup files and services.

Okay, thank you. I will get right on it and try it out. I'll get back to you
with a status report!
