Can't access files

I can't access files such as: Application Data, Cookies, Local Settings, Send
To, Start Menu, Temp Internet Files. They all have the shortcut icons, and
when I right click them, I get the error message I'm not authorized. I've ran
my antivirus (BitDefender), Spybot, AdAware and nothing shows up. Someone
please explain. I'm beginning to miss XP more and more each day!

The shortcut icon ( arrow ) in this case denotes a "Junction Point". In
Vista \Documents and Settings is actually a junction point that resolves
back to the \Users folder tree. For compatibility reasons these junction
points are in place for older software that expects to find these folders.

Application Data: Everything I've wanted that was in Application Dat
in previous operating systems is now in the accessible AppData folde
under "Roaming."

Sorry for the omission from the previous post. You'll need to use
Explorer and navigate to:

Users
'YourLoginName'
AppData
Roaming
Microsoft
Windows

This is where you'll find familiar items such as Cookies, Send To...

Apparently I have a problem. There is no
AppData
Roaming
Microsoft
Windows

under my user name.
Thanks again; seems I have a lot of work trying to figure out what's wrong.
