Can't Access microsoftupdates.com

i cannot access microsoftupdates.com (all other sites at MS work) using
either IE or the AOL browser. Both browsers freeze up totally when trying to
access the updates. (typing in the address and/or using "tools" on IE). I
do not seem to be getting automatic updates. I did get on twice out of about
40 tries and some of the critical updates downloaded - but then stopped. My
tool bar icon shows 89% downloaded. since then, i have not been able to do a
thing and have frozen browsers each time i try. I can navigate anywhere else
on the MS website - but not updates.

sometime over the past 8 hours, automatic updates did connect, but only
brought the upload from 89 to 94%, where it sits right now. still cannot
acces the updates site

In Norway we have the same problem....

It just searching for new updates....but thats all.
