Can't access to some keys

Hello !

Since three months, I can access to
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer " but not his subkeys.
Si I cannot install/deinstall/update : Windows Live Messenger, QuickTime,
K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, Windows Live Installer...

When I had this problem with Windows XP I use the Repair Permissions
function of Dial-a-Fix [http://wiki.djlizard.net/Dial-a-fix], but this
software isn't "Vista Ready".

Please, wow can I repair my registry ?

Hi Pihug12,

You might try taking ownership of the registry subkey first, then make
try to modify or delete it. Method Two in this tutorial will show you
how to do it. (Step 3)
