Can't access Word since Messenger Update

Hi, I have just had to undertake a mandatory update to Live Messenge
and since doing this, am completely unable to use Word. I can't eve
view documents that are saved in Word. When I click on the start button
I now have two Microsoft Word icons (one in bold, the other not) bu
neither works, both just say 'not responding' and freeze on me. I am
complete novice (took me ages to register here!) and really need som
urgent help as I have to type up my husband's invoices using Word today

this has happened to me and im struggling to find a solution but if you need access to your documents try using sytem restore this will allow you access to word but of course not messenger.. if i find a solution ill post it

hi i suspect that microsoft have devised a sytem that checks your using legal office software and if yur not this is whats causing the problem its called OGA there is a fix but its too complicated for me ill have to buy a proper version!!! good luck
