Can't activate after hardware upgrade- No tech support

I'm not sure this is the right place to ask this question but I don't know
where else to go. I recently installed a new hard drive (WD Raptor X 150gb
10k rpm). After I did this I formatted my old hard drive and installed
Windows Vista onto the new one. Now Vista won't activate because it says my
key is already in use and the key won't work to get me free tech support.
There has to be some way to remedy this without paying for $60 of tech
support or buying a new key. Any ideas?

Try activating by telephone:

Take a look at the following tutorial:

You have to call up to phone activation and beg them to let you use that
for which you have already paid. Ain't it great? Tired of this crap?
Check out Ubuntu, a free operating system that can be installed on as
many computers as you like without *anyone's* permission to do so. Not
only is it free but comes with access to over 22,000 free programs.
Check it out at www.ubuntu.com/

You're a bigoted creep. I offered TWO solutions to the OP. You ONLY
offered a bigoted hissy fit.

The OP doesn't need to use a TOY OS like Ubuntu. He probably needs to get
some real work done and needs to just activate his OS. No big deal, only a
few minutes to make the call. If he tries to use Ubuntu, he will spend
weeks trying to get crap to work and then using the inferior Office product,
he will be pulling his hair out.

Better leave Ubuntu to yourself and the other geeks out there. Remember:
friends don't let friends use LINUX!

Windows is for gaming. Hence, Windows is the toy OS, not Ubuntu.

No problem getting work done with Ubuntu.

Um, Vista doesn't come with any office products. Ubuntu does. Oops.

Like Frank, I guess you're just too dumb to use Ubuntu and should stick
with Windows.

Wrong Mr. Numbnuts. I guess you have a comprehension problem. I was
talking about OpenSores Office and NOT that MS Office. I guess you couldn't
figure that out. No wonder why you use Ubuntu!

Once again, Frank's buttons get pushed and he reacts as he normally
does: lie, insult, use profanity and bluster. You're the Poster Child
for Pathetic, Frank.
