Can't add XP PC to wireless network setup on Vista

I set the network up on my Vista computer with WPA security. I connected to
the network on wife's Vista computer, entering the network security key, no
problem. I attempted to add another computer running XP, using the flash
drive to transfer settings. Ran the Wireless Network Setup Wizard from the
flash drive. Got a message that the operation was successful. However when I
try to connect to the network, using the Wireless Network Connection, in the
line for the network I set up, there is a line saying 'Validating Identity',
and there is a message pointing to the wireless network icon stating
'Windows was unable to find a certificate to long you onto the network...'

Any advice with this problem would be greatly appreciated!

I did not say anything about usb. The flash drive interface was usb. The XP
computer has a wireless adapter in the PCMCIA slot, D-Link DWL-G650, and
also has a built-in wireless adapter. Not sure why I installed the extra
adapter. Both adapters are detecting the wireless network. I don't
understand your last question.

Thanks for your help.

I attempted to answer this reply some time ago but don't see my answer in
the log. Anyway the XP computer has a D-Link DWL-G650 wireless adapter. I
don't understand the question about drives for adapter install.

Please try to help me as I am now trying to connect another PC running XP,
with the same result.
