Can't attach photos to email

I have Vista. I just tried to email someone & I attached some scanned photos
from "Pictures" but keep getting a message saying that "some of the files
could not be found and won't be sent." I closed out all other applications.
Suggestions?

You get a message WHEN? When you are composing the e-mail but haven't
yet tried sending it? Or when you attempt to send it?

How big in size, in total bytes, are these photos? If the problem is
when you send your photo-laden e-mail then perhaps you are making an
e-mail that exceeds the maximum size permitted by whomever is your
unidentified e-mail provider.

Using Windows Explorer, can you double-click on all the image files you
wanted to attach to open them so you can see them?

What email client?

Make sure you attached the actual picture and not a shortcut to it. You can also try dragging the picture overtop the new message window to attach it.
