I can't avoid appear offline to all my contacts

No matter what I do, all my contact see me as offline. I've tried to log in
different computers, so I know must be something wrong with my Live Account.

Who do I fix this? I actually created another Live account and that one
works ok, but I'd like to keep my old one.

All my new contacts see me as OFFline yet Im in IM mode and chatting with
them..Also, I see the new contacts I added as being OFFline yet IM them at
the time. It is as if my actions to add neww contacts are being ignored or
corrupted.

How do I fix this irritating problem?
