Please help. I just installed KB934268 and KB934238, and after it was
finished chose to restart my computer, but it won't boot up. It won't even
recognize my monitor so I can't see anything. It just stays in a mode of the
harddrive running like it does normally just before you see dos prompts on
screen before windows loads.
How can I correct this situation?

Hi there,

Try booting in safe mode hit F8 during boot and choose safe mode from the
boot menu, when finished booting choose no when asked yes or no and choose
no system restore will start and choose a restore point before the error
occured.

Best regards,
Michel Denie

That's funny, I get an error that says Device Driver is bad and there is no
solution!

Dear JLangford

When downloading the updates, they are stored in the following folder:
WINDOWS/SoftwareDistribution/Download. (For future references).

In the menu-bar you click on "Tools/Folder Options/View" and choose to show
hidden folders. In your WINDOWS folder the uninstall-option for all
downloaded service packs and updates appear, namely with a blue title,
$NTUninstallKB934268$.
You see that information when you put the cursor just over the relevant
folder.
Now you can open the folder and uninstall the downloaded package. Uninstall
the installation folder as well, for it might try to update later on. I have
renamed all folders (install and uninstall) giving it the relevant name of
the update, so i'll find them better later on. It's a bit tidious, but does
the job and is helpfull. (Open the downloaded folders one-by-one in
SoftwareDistribution/Downloads, open the folder "update" in each folder and
click "Rename" on the "Security Catalog" [the one with the yellow stripe]
whis has the name of the update. Copy, close and rename the downloaded
installation folder i.e. 0eaed8d713d78954a90c813a5e2c5934 - which is the
default name of the relevant download - with the just copied name. Sounds
difficult, but is very simple - if time consuming). This way you can install
only the downloads you want to install, for example in case of crashes and
re-formating the hard drive.
I hope this helps.

Dear MVK:

Did you not read the post? The following quote from it
might be of interest to you:

---------------------
"...it won't boot up. It won't even
recognize my monitor so I can't see anything."
---------------------

How is this guy supposed to follow your directions?
