Can't boot up HELP!!!

Hi guys and girls. I have a Dell Insiron 1525 with Vista basic. I can'
get it to boot up, It starts with a screen ( updating windows 3 of 3 0
complete) then a screen saying its shutting down and repetes this ove
and over and over. I tried booting in safe mode, same result. and i
last good configuration, same result. What can I do?

If this is not an OEM version of the O/S pre-installed, then you have a
retail version of the O/S install DVD. You can boot off of the install
DVD and take the path to *Correct Boot problems* from the install DVD
that could correct the problem for you.

I hope you made the Recovery DVD(s), the first thing you should have
done out the gate, if this is an OEM version of the O/S so that you can
reinstall the O/S.

Your last resort might be to get on the phone with Dell to see if they
can get you out of it.
