I installed an automatic Windows update last night. This morning when I
logged on, I couldn't connect to the internet using my satellite modem (DW
4000). My firewall (McAfee) said the satellite software had been removed from
the computer, but the software was running. I reinstalled the satellite
software. I've also reinstalled my antivirus software, and now it lists the
Direcway software as a "full access" application, but i still can't connect
using the satellite.
I called satellite tech support and they said to try a system restore --
which i did, to no avail.
