My login, password and ISP number is ok. In other notebook with XP work
perfect, but in my new nootbook with Vista Business doesn't work rigt now. At
the beginning it was working fine, after try to update the system, (this
update doesn't work and the previous system was recovered) never the dial up
connection work any more.

What can I change or fix in the system?

Remove the update that is incompatible, if present, and use system restore
to repair it. Set your system to ask before updating, and rightclick that in
the offered update list to disable it.

Check your modem in device manager to make sure it is working properly.
Right click on Computer then choose properties and click Device Manager in
the left pane of the window that pops up. If OK, go on to check your
connection.

Click Start then click Control Panel then Network and Sharing Center. Under
the Tasks pane on the left click Manage Network Connections. Check the
properties of your current dial-up connection. Is there anything out of
order? If not, delete it and set it up again by clicking Set up a Connection
or Network.

If you have updated the driver for the modem, then go to the Start button,
right-click the Computer line, go to Properties, go to Device Manager,
select the modem, right-click it, go to Properties, select the Driver tab,
and select Rollback.

Never allow Windows update to update drivers.

I am sorry. Let me explain well. The modem are working fine, windows can't
update automatically and the system are working fine after recovery (at least
I think so). When I dial to ISP all the process had been doing well, my
notebook and the ISP Server exchange information well and when the ISP server
check the password and login, it is all, I am receiving a message saying the
connection can't be establish, check teh password and login, etc. But all
this name, number and password is ok, I am thinking may be is a security
problems, some setting on this regards is wrong. I was traying to disable the
firewall but anything.

Try calling your ISP for either a walkthrough of settings or for info on the
state of the service being provided..

Check the security tab of the connection properties (see below). Make sure
that the options there match what your ISP expects. On mine for example,
'Typical' is selected and 'Allow unsecured Password'. Sounds like your logon
and/or handshaking after connection are failing.
