Can't copy some files, message re user-mapped section.. any ideas?

When I try to move files, I get this message.

They're just MP3 files, I've tried everything but keep getting this.

Any ideas?

The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-
mapped section open.

It means that something has the file(s) open. Try shutting down anything
that might be associated with music. Do you share these files with a music
player on another system?

There are some programs that will leave files/directories open or locked
even when the program has been closed. (Visual Studio 2005 for one)

As an experiment, try rebooting the computer and moving the files 1st thing
after log in.

I did try re-starting, but eventually had to delete every file each
time.


I just need to uninstall VIsta and put back XP until Microsoft sort
their software out!
