I can't delete a folder on my desktop

I created a folder on my desktop, and when I went to rename it, I pressed
"255" while holding the ALT key. Doing this makes the name blank. However,
when I try to delete the folder, it doesn't let me. I've tried deleting it as
an Administrator, and still have had no luck. I would appreciate any help.
Thanks, Brian

Also, I forgot to note that I have 64bit home premium. Thanks again, Brian

Boot to safe mode and try it again. There is a prog called moveonboot that
is just for this purpose too. It works on XP but not sure about Vista.
Look it up on google.

Hi Brain,

You did the old remove the text from the icon trick. You will need to
rename the folder first to something other than the (ALT+255) trick.
You should be able to delete it then. Look towards the bottom of this
site's tip for how to do it.
