can't delete message - unknown error

This has never happened before today but I tried to delete a message and got
the error message - unknown error. Any suggestions?

I restarted Windows Live Mail several times and also rebooted computer but
it will delete all other messages in junk folder but this one remains.

what is the message means? maybe it was a virus.

That happened to me as well. The message is already in the deleted folder;
try emptying the deleted folder by clicking on the "X" to the right of the
folder name or right clicking on the folder name and then "empty deleted
messages". I don't why it originally happened, but it does no more!

Apparently the message has in fact been deleted, but still shows in inbox.
Now I have to figure out where the live mail display stores its info. It
does not actually check the files in message storage but seems to have it's
own list somewhere.

Managed to delete 2 "unknown error" messages.
Highlighted message, went to toolbar Edit and then clicked on delete.
First message gone.
Tried same on second message, but no luck.
Closed and opened Live Mail, tried again, no luck.
Closed and opened Live Mail, tried again, sucess!
Obviously a clunky workaround but at least I managed to get rid of the
messages.
