cant delete outbox email

I was trying to send an email that is toooo big. Every time I go to my
outbox to delete, I freeze my system. Window Mail stops responding. Help

Click: File | Work Offline. Can you delete it now?

If Bruce's suggestion didn't work, then try www.oehelp.com/WMUTil/ to clear the outbox.
