Thanks Norman,
I prefer to just disable it.
I have thought abt deleteing it, but don't have the nerve since its comes
back with a question asking if I am sure it want to delete because other
programs may stop functioning without it!
I use Windows Live mail for my email- will that stop working? I REALLY don't
want to lose that or get a new acct.
Every time Messenger does an update, it HAUNTS me to update my Messenger,
which I don't ever plan to use. Drives me insane! I also get invites to be
someones IM buddy (who I don't even know!)Thats the last thing I want to do
is have someone add me as an IM buddy. Yet I can not block these IM notices,
invites to update, upgrade ect.
I am trying to protect myself from unwanted exposure to junk mail, virus's,
spam, and slimy people, but other than deleteing the entire "Essential"
package I don't know what to do.
