Cant d'load any updates since June Error number: 0x8024402F

Windows XP Home Edition
Version 2002 Service Pack 2

Internet Explorer:
Version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519

however keep getting error code: Error number: 0x8024402F

when attemprting to find updates.

downloaded all suggested updates that i can, disabled firewall and antivirus
yet keep getting the same thing ??
