Can't download Shockwave player

Hello;

One of my friends had a computer that had issues and took it back to the
store, they figured the store was best because they thought the usb ports on
the laptop went bad.

Anyway long story short the store found it was like I figured spyware. So
the store reformated and reinstalled the os.

I have no issues with that but the owner went and got all of the updates
including the new ones, everything seems to work ok except Shockwave.

I know there is and up date that changes the behaviour of Active X number
not in head right now but when we went to get Flash Player and Shockwave
Player things got wierd.

Flash Player was downloaded and installed just fine. Shockwave pops up an
alert box that says click here to download. You get two boxes. No matter
how hard you try you just can not get the Shockwave player to download.

They need this for something they do. Any ideas on how to get it to download
and install?

I did find a manual download on the site but it really does not tell what
the difference are between the two Windwos XP Versions, seems like a lean
and full versions.

I would like to get the standard download if I can.

Problem Resolved;

Must have been an issue at Macromedia's website. The darn thing downloaded
and installed properly today after 5:00pm Eastern US.
