Can't download an update

Everytime I try to download the latest update of Office XP Service Pack it
gets about halfway through then wants me to put in the Microsoft Office XP
Service Pack CD-Rom. I don't have it anymore. Is there anyway to get around
this?

I just bought Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003. If I install it will
it help with my problem or make it worse?
