everytime I go to update Windows or Office vulnerabilities (PC-cillin found a
High Risk vulnerability on my HP PC today) I get this error message. Can
anyone help out?

"The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem. "

Thanks,
Evelyn

What was the problem it encountered? There should be an 8-digit error
number.

Exactly, I spent a whole weekend once trying to find out about a 0x8DDD0009
error ... and it ended up being a Microsoft Server error. It only happened
on Custom Installs and finally updated way early in AM.

I suspect the 08DDD0009 error must have something to do with server
connections on their side. I wish the arbitrary error:

"The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.
"

would be more exact a unique from MS. They overuse that statement for
everything they seem to not have a definitive user friendly error for.
