Can't download WLM; can't receive WM validation e-mail

I am running Windows Messenger and want to upgrade to WLM.

First -- I signed up for Windows Messenger using my normal e-mail address
and I am now active on WM. However, my e-mail address is showing as "not
verified." When I log out of WM and log back in, I get a pop-up telling me
to click here for an e-mail that will verify my e-mail address. Apparently,
they send an e-mail to me with a link that I click on and verify my e-mail.

I have never received that verifying e-mail in spite of several attempts
over two days. I turned off all my mail filters, turned off anti-spam, and
disabled my firewall -- still no e-mail from MS or whomever. All other
e-mail is arriving normally using the same address.

Second -- I cannot download WLM. I tried a URL as suggested by one of the
MVP's on this NG and when I click on download all I get is an error message,
page cannot be displayed. Again, I disabled all my firewalls,
pop-upblockers, and other protection to no avail.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Greetings Joe,

1. You can contact Passport Services and ask them to send you a verification e-mail
directly:
https://accountservices.passport.net...lc=1033&vv=310
(scroll down page for form)

2. If you wish, you can get the installer from me:
