Hi everyone!!

A need help! I've installed KB911567 and now I can't edit my *.eml files. In
the future, if I was starting an email I could save it (on the desktop for
example) and I could edit it later. Now, after installing KB911567 I can't
enymore.

Can anyone help me?

Best regards

Thanks a lot Steve, but there is no other way to solve this problem?

Best regards

Yes, there is,
Run the edit on line 383 right hand side at this link
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

I'm not sure if a reboot is required or not,if it doesn't help then reboot.

You're on Windows XP SP2? If true, you're stuck since this functional
change is intended by MS - although I would still call it a bug.

There's no other way to get around that but uninstalling KB911567.

This has BTW *nothing* to do with KB908531 problems! So if you don't
have the problems mentioned in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918165
you're not effected and don't have to apply any registry or other
fixes.

Bye,
Freudi
