Click start and type "regedit" into the search box, it's one of those
entries that doesn't come up by using part of the name.

Open the Run command (Windows key + R) type in regedit > click Continue on
the UAC dialog.

Alternative, Click Start > type Command Prompt, right click it > click 'Run
as Administrator' > type regedit > press Enter.

Just click the start menu and type 'regedit' (without the quotes) into the
search box. The regedit command will appear at the top of the start menu
window, all you then have to do is click on it.
