Thanks.......that's what I was hunting for, but afraid it won't help with
the PPS problem. (I had already downloaded a PPS file to my hard drive and
it opened with Power Point viewer just fine.) I found out that it will not
in Windows Mail because of a Microsoft "oops" that causes it not to open
there unless you have Office or Power Point on your computer--or edit the
registry. Jane just gave me a link to a help site (below) where I found the
explanation. She didn't actually tell me to edit it--but I don't want Office
nor make slide shows so the registry would be the most feasible option.
