can't find update error 0x80070424

[Error number: 0x80070424]
Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested
page. You may find the following resources helpful in resolving the problem:

Only reference I've found is in KB of:
"How to use the ASP.NET ValidatePath Module Scanner (VPModuleScanner.js)"

and I don't believe thats applicable as I get a response of:
"OUTPUT: Thu Dec 16 14:15:38 EST 2004,localhost,Unknown ASP.NET version,IIS
not installed on client machine,Unknown module status"

Any assist appreciated please . . . .

same problem is windows update snafu?where else can i update?maybe mirror site?

Problem Solved . . .
Thanks to Google and Babelfish and lukor.com.
(yep - had to translate to Spanish and it was STILL faster and worked)

START-->RUN-->regsvr32 wuaueng.dll

and Joy has returned :-D

Yes this solved it for me also. now when I hit the Update site it shows a
window on the right that says "Automatic updates turned on" . I had
previously set this to "Notify me but don't automatically download or install
them" I was surprised that this error # was not listed in the "Windows
Update Troubleshooter" messages.
