Can't get any help??

Windows update keeps repeating that I need KB837009 for OE6sp1. I try to
install and I receive error message that I need to have OE6sp1 to download
this update. I have outlook express 6 running Windows 98se. I've posted this
message many times and get no response. Pleeeeeeze!!!! This is driving me
bonkers!!

As you stated you have OE 6 on Win 98SE, you need to install SP1 for your system.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Then you should be able to apply the OE6sp1 patch.

Thank you so much for responding to my post. Was starting to feel very
rejected.Anyways,... the version I have is 6.00.2800.123 - isn't that the sp1
version? If so,..why won't it install?

Hi there, I'm not using Win 98 se. If you have sp1 it should state it somewhere when
you go to help/about in both IE and OE.

You could try:
OE6-specific newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...outlookexpress

They would be able to give you more information on Win98se.
