Can't get back my desktop icons

I right-clicked on the desktop and click "hide desktop icons and there doesnt
seem to be a way to get them back, right-clicking on the desktop no longer
works, please help.

Right click on the desktop and select personlzie. Then in the left hand
menu select desktop icons.

Right clicking on the desktop does nothing

You can also get at if from the control panel.

Select Control panel from the start menu. then click on the words
Appearance and Personalization, then click the word personalization, then on
the left hand menu click "change desktop icons"

It's not right click on the desktop and select personalize, it's right click
on the desktop and the choices for arranging icons and show/not show icons
is right there on the menu.

1, right click on the desktop
2,from the view menu choose what you want to do regarding icons.
