Can't get er done, build 5600

Have system booting from the iso dvd I created, system sees the disk and
starts loading vista. After about 2 minutes I get an error message
"setup.exe = application error. The exception unknow software exception
0ex0000100 occured in the application at location ox7706ddde0

??? Any suggestions Should I reformat the disk and try again or does the
setup have to have a working xp system on it. TIA
