Hi;

I have a new iPAQ HX 2495b and have installed the latest driver, 4.2.
I would like to set a schedule for activesynch to download any changes
from my PC, Windows XP Pro, and to upload any changes from my pocket pc
to my pc.
The instructions tell you to go into synch, click on tools and select
scheduler. Unfortunately, scheduler is grayed out.

Anybody have an idea?

thanks, Bob

Hi Bob,

From the ActiveSync help file - "When the device is connected to a wireless
network and not connected directly to a PC, you can schedule wireless
synchronization to occur automatically at regular intervals. Wireless
synchronization is available only when synchronizing directly with Exchange
Server. "

So if you are syncing the mobile device only with your PC then the Schedule
option will be grayed out. It gets enabled when you sync at least one of
the supported information type with an Exchange Server.

Correction: It gets enabled the moment you add an exchange server
information. Even if you choose not to sync any of the information type.
