i can't get service pack 2 to down load

everytime i try to download service pack 2 it always fails. i can't get it no
matter what i try. please help.

i don't know if this has anything to do with not being able to get into
micrsoft word or excel, but in the past 2 days i have not been able to use
either one of these programs and i need them bad .

Same here.
The installation of SP2 from Automatic Update always fails, as does the
update which tries to install every time the computer shuts down.
I can't open .xls files.
If I try to repair Office 2003 it says it cannot find file sku011.cab.
WTF is going on?

Are you referring to Windows XP SP2?

And what version of Word and Excel are you using?

In my case, Office SP2 for Office Pro 2003. Word 2003 will open, Excel 2003
will not.
