i cant get to view or send my webcam to certain contacts on WLM

um with certain contacts, we cant get to view each other's webcam but with
other contacts we can. anyone knows how to fix this? i don't think its a
firewall problem because i don't have any enabled and as i said, it only
happens with certain contacts...

I'm having the same problem, but I get a message saying that my webcam is
being used by another program, even when it is inactive. u_u

Greetings,

Make sure you've gone through the Audio and Video setup wizard (press Alt-T on the keyboard
in any Messenger window, then choose the option) and assuming you've done that, you may need
to update the camera's drivers if the problem persists

Ok so what do i do so i can view the webcam of my friends or friend i shud
say because they can send their webcam and view the webcam of others but its
just between us that it never connects. could it b the difference in the
speeds of our internet connections? im on dial-up and they're on dsl...but it
worked with other dsl connections too so im jus guessing...
