This problem nearly drove me insane!!! Especially as I had just
completed building my new machine, and purchased the latest XP Pro CD
with SP2 included. At first, my thoughts were that maybe it was because
I had not yet "Activated" and silly me went ahead and did just that,
but to no avail. BUT salvation came from the following genius:-
