Can't hide update

How do I tell Vista that I do not want to install the Windows search
update? I only have two options - install and cancel and it keeps coming
back.

Did you try to right click and select Hide update

Right-click does nothing - until, that is, you choose to view updates.
Obvious really. Vista help only says it is possible, but not how to do
it!
