cant instal SP2

i already got all the other updates there are in windows update site. the
only one left is Service Pack 2. BUT IT JUST WONT INSTALL! it produces an
error..PLEASE HELP! i cant download it neither from automatic updates

but downloading the full package for networks is the same as for a single
pc?...i mean, i can download the full network SP2 pack, but i just need it on
a single pc...its the same thing anyways?

the CD takes like a month to arrive, so i guess its faster to download the
full package..

Typically the CD takes less than 10 days to arrive.
If you can, download from another computer with high speed access if yours
does not have high speed, and burn to CD.

Most problems with SP-2 are eliminated with preparation:

do you mean that i download the full pack SP2 and i burn the setup in a CD
and then install it from the CD? I really dont get what is the difference of
the full pack or the "regular" pack

There is Express Installation and Network Installation.
Download and burn to CD or order the CD, both are the Network Installation.
Ignore the name it is suitable for a single computer..
