cant install 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 1 (SP1) upda

Hi,
I've been trying to install the 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 1
(SP1) many times, but it failed all the times. The message shows:

Error(s) found:
Code 80070643 Windows Update encountered an unknown error.

I'm currently using Microsoft Office 2003, with Window Vista Home Premium as
my operating system. I'm wondering if that could be the reason as to why,
Windows Update is unable to install the 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service
Pack 1 (SP1)updates? And if thats the case, should I ignore the update? Its
really troubling me as the Windows Update always try to install it, but it'll
be unsuccessful. Any advises or suggestions?

2003 by using Software Update Services

So why are you even TRYING to install an office 2007 Service pack?

I can't look it up right now, but IIRC it applies to the compatibility pack.

Thats what I'm unsure of...if I should install the update? The 2007 SP1
update is rated as 'important' in the Windows Update. Thats the reason why
I've been TRYING to install it.

However, I'm wondering, why did I receive that update, since I'm using
Microsoft Office 2003. So, should I ignore that SP1 update? If yes, how do I
remove it from the Windows Update list? (Windows Update always try to install
it automatically, but ALWAYS failed.)

Why am I being offered SP1 for Office 2007?

Do you have Web Components installed (which are updated by Office 2007 SP1)
